What I Learned Fasting

1. My mouth, thoughts, pride and carnal body defile me.

2. The Lord will never lead me nor forsake me.

3. I am very blessed to have food to eat.

4. I experienced only a glimpse of the pain that my brothers and sisters in other counties in famine do.

5. He will reward the things that are done in secret.

6. I need Him every second of the day. Literally the day I finished my fast I passed out. God kept me until I could eat again.

7. I should help the needy.

8. Having an intimate relationship with my Father and being His princess is the best reward because I am eternally with Him

9. Without Jesus I am weak and my carnal body takes over.

10. Prayer really DOES change things.

11. God deeply knows me and reveals secrets I didn't know I needed.

12. I have no idea what it means to be poor

13. Make prayer systematic. Food, technology, etc. are things you reach for without thought, it's systematic.
