9.1. SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE IS OKAY

It is very easy to believe that marriage is nothing but a paper. That it means nothing because people can still be unloyalty in a marriage. However, all of that misses the point. of God's design. We were made to give God glory. And marriage is supposed to be a reflection of God's love for us. "For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church;" Ephesians 5:23 This is the purpose of marriage. To reflect to others, the covenant we have with Christ." Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you and you became Mine," says the Lord." Ezekiel 16:8. Therefore we must make a covenant with someone first. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed." Genesis 2:24-25

2. SECULARISM ISN'T A THREAT

Secularism is the absence of religion. Like in school for instance, we should keep our beliefs to our self. But Secularism is what the devil uses to take Christ out of everything. We know that being a Christian is not just another religion. It is the truth. So when Christianity is made out to be just another religion, it is easy for people to say, keep that to yourself. But we know that Jesus is the only way to heaven. John 10:9 says, " I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved." A good movie I recommend that shows the dangers of Secularism is ' Time Changer'.

3. GOOD WORKS = HEAVEN

I remember when I was younger and I met a Muslim family. They were sweet as can be and very giving. I remember asking my mom how they were so happy without Jesus. And thinking, if they're so good, shouldn't they go to heaven too? But I failed to realize that true happiness comes from the Savior's presence. And that only Jesus has the power to cleanse of from our sins! Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Neither can you only believe in God! "Jesus said unto him, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

4.WOMEN DON'T NEED MEN

In a world like today, Feminism is taking over. It almost seems like women feel they don't need men. I hear it all the time. But the truth is, woman was made for Man. Eve for Adam. This does not mean women are incapable or slaves. But we are no greater then men.. "Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 11:11

5. HOMOSEXUALITY IS FINE

I've met several Christians who are gay, but just like any other sin. It is a sin. Yes, Jesus said to love one another. But not sexually. God created men and women compatible and different for a reason. Because he said, "Be fruitful and multiply. That sex should be between a man and his wife as I stated earlier. Leviticus 18:22 "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." Many get confused about this and mistake it for hate. I want to make it clear. God does not hate gays, he hates that the act of being gay. God did not create anyone that way. It is a decision. God loves sinners but hates our sin.

6.BEING LUKEWARM IS GOOD ENOUGH

This is one people don't even realize they believe. We spend countless hours at work and school and give Jesus only 2 hours on Sunday. Jesus said, "SO then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold or hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth"Revelation 3:16 Another powerful verse is Luke 14:34-35 "Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" 7. BEING SEDUCTIVE IS BEAUTIFUL

Many celebrities and TV share this lie to young women. That you have to show everything to be beautiful. So not true  If you have a husband, enjoy yourself with him. If not wear something sexy around the house. But not to attract men. We must honor God with our bodies.. There is nothing wrong with our bodies. God made women. However, we should not use our bodies to draw attention to us. But constantly point others to God. The bible talks about the seductive women that the media is enforcing now, and not in a way that pleases God.

8. GOD'S NOT IN CONTROL

When we believe that other things have bondage over us to the point where we spend more time on those things than acknowledging the power of God. That is forgetting and not acknowledging God's power. Money for instance, if you stress or worry over it. That you hoarded everything and haven't given God your first fruits. That is worrying. That is a lack of faith. Hebrews 11:6 "Without faith it is impossible to please Him."

9. DIVORCE ISN'T AS BAD

We all know that God takes covenant seriously.t seems as though divorce is overlooked as. But marriage is a serious thing. It should be taken seriously. Please carefully consider the person you are with before marrying them. Get to know them deeply. I recommend, " I Kissed Dating Goodbye and Boy Meets Girl" both by Joshua Harris. Yes, there are exceptions where you can get a divorce. But let's not divorce each other just because things get hard or I'm no longer into you.  You must think carefully, before entering into it.
