If you are not aware already, there has been a lot of debate about abortion and many different laws are being passed.  As Christians, our stance should be quite clear. That abortion is wrong.. The Bible says, "Before you were formed in your mother's womb, I knew you."  In cases where a woman has been abused, if the mother does not want to keep the child, there are plenty of couples who are dying to have children but can't. For those women who are pregnant unexpectantly and want their child but can not provide, again, someone wants the child, and there are people who are willing to take care of the child temporarily or allow you to visit. When you become a mother, you have to put your child first before you think about what a child would do to you. It is a very grown-up thing to do, that some may not be prepared for, but you have a child inside of you know. There is an argument that the baby isn't actually a baby until a certain point. But the verse I quoted says otherwise. Also, think about it like this. Say babies growth didn't progress the way it does. Say one day it is only sperm and egg and the very next day a full baby? On that day while it is just sperm and egg, would you get an abortion? It doesn't matter what stage the baby is at, it is the fact that in knowing that the baby will be full grown in nine months you still chose to kill it. So, I want women to understand, the babies are not the issue, you just have to be selfless. Now, I want to make it clear that even though I do not support abortion, I also do not support women getting the death penalty for it. I am convicting, but only God can judge. No state or government or person should have the right to say that woman should die because honestly, we are all murderers. We all killed Jesus on the cross. with our sins. But thanks be to God, we are saved by grace!
